Process View Page in Service Desk

I have a weird issue. In my workflows I build a table in the description field of the Setup Process component. But when I go to view the description in the process view page it puts a bunch of breaks in the html. Here are a couple of screen shots.

When I insepct element in the developer tools here is what I see for that panel.

Here is the weird part. It works in my test environment but not in my production environment. Any ideas what is causing this?
