Dagent consuming lots of memory!!!!!!!

Hi ,

We are receiving multiple alerts in our alerting tool for memory in the windows 2003/2008 servers having memory less than 256 MB .

While investigating , we found that Altiris client deployment service - dagent.exe consuming lots of memory leading to the alerts being generated in our Monitoring tool and we are flooded with alerts .

As a temporary solution provided at http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?pag... we are stopping the dagent service in clients with windows server 2003/2008

How to mitigate this issue permanently ?
