We recently created a web service caller that calls a process that writes a XML file to a third party program so that the third party program can load the info into a crystal report and convert it to a pdf. This process for this specific report takes about 2 1/2 min. The report is about 9 subreports.
The probelm is the component when we put it in to a process lets us load the variables we want. There is one that comes from the workflow called timeout. It doesnt say what it is measured in. But we have found the largest value we can put in is 999,999,999 which equates to about 2 min. So the problem is the component times out while the process is still generating the report. So the process wont continue past this point. Is there a way to make this even longer that anyone knows of or a way to just get rid of it. We are trying to find a way to speed up the report but not having any luck.
Second question.
This process generates two seperate reports. Is it possible to have them run at the same time within the process. Sort of like have it get to apoint split down two paths then meet up on the other side.
