Symantec Ghost Client Required?

Hi,

I have been reading up on Ghost Solution Suite licensing and have a question that I can't find an answer to.  Is it a requirement that computers imaged by a Ghost server have the Ghost client installed?

I'm just curious.  I know that it makes it easier to keep track of licenses and is needed for management tasks, but is it required for licensing reasons?
