Dell OptiPlex 390 - WinPE won't connect to network

I need a solution

I just purchased GSS 2.5, and got it running on a server with WS2008. I have successfully installed the client on a Dell OptiPlex 390, and I can even get it to boot from the virtual partition.

To get my feet wet with GSS, I'm trying to create an image based off this existing PC running Windows 7. Here's what happnes:

I create a task to create an image. No Sysprep options checked, and the PC's Network Settings when using Virtual Partition are set to WinPE-512.

I can get it to boot, however, I can't get a network connection. I get "polling for bound server..." over and over again. If I Ctrl+C and type ipconfig/all at the command prompt, it shows me no network connection whatsoever, and I can't ping my GSS server's IP address.

This happens whether my Manually Selected Template is set to Universal or to the Realtek TEL8169 that's in the OptiPlex 390. If I download the driver straight from Dell's website and try to add it as an NDIS driver, I get "Unable to automatically read the parameters for this network card because the oemsetup.inf file was not in a recognised format."

At this point, I am 100% stuck and cannot use GSS.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
