Guidence on Custom Dialog Script Editor

Morning,

I'm new to Wise Script Editor and am developing my first project.

I realize the product is no longer supported so hoping the community can help me out.  It would seem as though none of the dialog scripts for the custom dialog are running.  Even the sample that is referenced in the help documentation "Event Handler.wse" is not working as in not processing the custom dialog script.  I noticed the version of WiseScript Editor we are using is 1.0 and I'm wondering if there was a newer version available or some other explanation of why the custom dialog script isn't running. 

We are using Admin Studio 11.5.
