We have confused about to enable Legacy mode communication.
We have our older NS 7.1 Server with around 4000 manage clients and CMDB database on different server.
Now we have installed New NS 7.6 and CMDB on differnet server.
Now we have to move and upgrade all our NS 7.1 manage 4000 clients to New 7.6 in batch wise (One batch lets see 50 clients)
We have created on agent redirect policy under Target agent settings and in server name and server web we have mention NS 7.6 server name
now NS 7.1 agent only takes the NS 7.6 Server name after that it will not take any upgradation policy or any computer ID etc...
Is this resolve after enabling Legacy agent communication mode??? If yes then is there any impact of rest of NS 7.1 who we doesnt want to redirect to NS 7.6 because we doing phase wise
