I want to create an image of a T420 and restore it to a T440 so I need to use a bootable USB. I am also using version 11.5.1 of Ghost.
I when I created a PC-DOS bootable drive I was easily able to add the right network drivers as a template and connect the computers to create an image. The problem is I don't think it worked correctly as the file size is 2,295KB which seems, well, wrong. So when I try to restore the small image to the T440, nothing happens. Ghost says the restore is complete but the T440 hasn't changed, as in the restore did nothing.
I attempted making a WinPE bootable device but I'm getting an error about the network drivers.. which I did add in the last step of the wizard. I don't see much difference between the two (winPE and PC-DOS) and I'm getting farther with the latter so might as well fixed what I missed with that one.
Any suggestions?
