Help me resolve this issue and become my hero! :P
This issue is very random...
First I must explain our imaging process.
1) In the PXE environment, you select the image from the Initial Deployment Menu. The first task of the imaging job is to run a scripted install of the OS.
2) Once the image is 'ghosted' to the drive, we inject drivers into the OS, then it reboots into production.
3) Once the sysprep tasks run (which also installs the SMP Agent [7.5]), it goes to the lock screen and continues on with the rest of the imaging job, which installs our software.
The issue seems to occur after the agent is installed. The agent will not pick up the rest of the imaging job, which are the tasks that install the rest of the software.
In the console, all it says is the agent is waiting to receive tasks. If you login to the machine and check its agent, it says waiting for tasks...
If you go to the imaging task for that computer and restart it, the task starts and the agent starts picking up the rest of the job...
