Workstation Local Administrator Group Cleanup

We are attempting to clean out our local administrator groups on all of our workstations.  I was asked if Altiris provided a method for remotely removing/adding group members from the local administrator group.

Has anybody ever used Altiris to do this?  If so, how did you go about accomplishing this?  If not, do you have a recommended method for automating this task?
