We migrate servers from 2003 to 2008 and have problems with task failing on Error 1. On 2003 the same job and task is ok. We have couple of 2008 environment and customers. In testing domain it is ok but we have this problem in Production. This happens only in WinPE, doesn't matter which version. According client log I can see that client has information that he needs something to do but when he ask for %ID%.vbs file apparently the file is not found, even if I can see the file. After 3 attempts - 3x2 seconds for sleep we can see Error 1. When we do retry task it works.
We have DS SP6, Windows 2008 R2 SP1.
I have found article http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH159185 which perfectly fit our problem. Does Symantec already know the root cause?
