We have just gotten Deployment Solutions 7.5 SP1 HF3 up and running (yay!), but I’m looking for some direction on how to get some of the functionality that was available in Ghost in the DS setup. The main thing I am looking to find out is how to access ghost from within WinPE after booting via PXE. My boss wants to be able to boot to PXE and launch a ghost instance to capture an image to an external hard drive when he’s at a satellite office or in other instances when capturing directly to the site server would take too long or would otherwise be undesirable. It’s clear that ghost is still an underlying component of DS, so I assume its running somewhere buried under the folder structure or something. I’d also like to know how to create USB boot disks like you could do with Ghost bootwiz. I know bootwiz is included in DS, but I don’t remember where it’s stored and if it’s as simple as clicking the exec and following the wizard or if things have changed.
