We have a new 7.5 Environment Set up in July and I believe fully patched (Version 7.5.3153)
I have an imaging job which I am now wanting to use in anger, and am finding it only works 70% of the time. Individual tasks get stuck, the time out for the job is reached, and the entire job fails.
The image has the agents pre-installed, and is sysprepped.
For example in the attached screenshot, the time to run for the entire job is set to 90 minutes. The Power control task to restart the PC has been running for 8 minutes (it should take seconds), during which the 90 minute limit for the job is reached, and has a status of The task was stopped by the user
The example given isn't too much of a problem, what is a problem is most of the machines which fail, fail much earlier task just after imaging i.e on the "boot to production" which is sat running for 30 minutes, before the whole job fails for going over the time limit.
It's as if the agent on the local machine isn't picking up the task. However if I go to the machines now, and assign tasks, they are picked up.
Any ideas how I can start trouble shooting this? where to look on the client machine (w7x64) or server?
Edit ::> If I look another couple of machines the agent, and click on task status, the status is "not registered" Doing an update, it then picks up the queued task (in one case just opening the agent and the queued tasks were picked up.
The "Not regisistered" on the task status post image deployment is the main problem I am trying to trouble shoot...
