I need a solution
I am getting ready to upgrade several servers from 2003 server standard to 2008 server standard. Some are 32-bit, some are 64-Bit. I have not used Ghost for many years.
All I want to do is make a simple bootable CD/DVD and boot from the media and make a full image backup of the server to an external usb hard disk. I want the bootable media and image just in case the 2008 server upgrade goes south on me.
This used to be fairly easy to do. We used to just install Ghost, tell it to make a bootable cd. Then boot from the cd, and make the image backup to preferred media.
Is there some simple instructions for using the Symantec Ghost Solution Suite to make this happen?
