pcAnywhere installation stuck on creating shortcuts

System is running Windows 7 Pro 64 bit. I have tried few things to fix this issue but it's not working.

PcAnywhere version 12.5

1) Run as administrator

2) Run compatiblity settings XP SP3

3) Run in safe mode

4) Manually uninstall from this link

I have read few threads but it seems no definitive solution.
